Accommodation and facilities

The accommodation is flexible. One or two people can enjoy spacious living on the lower two floors; larger families and groups can spread into the upper floors. Our price structure is based on the number of occupants.

We have a ‘no-frills’ approach: everything works and is clean and comfortable, but it is essentially a family home, not a hotel.

Bedroom 1, Long Gallery: double and single bed, en suite (1st floor)
Bedrooms 2-4: 2 twin rooms, 1 double; bath, shower, wc (2nd floor)
Bedroom 5, Vaulted Tower Room single plus double sofa-bed (half landing between ground and 1st floor)
Bedrooms 6 and 7, Tower Rooms: 1 double, 1 single (top floor)

Travel cot available

Ensuite bathroom to bed 1 with shower, bidet, wc
Separate shower, bath and wc for beds 2-4 (and top floor beds)

Separate wc downstairs

The kitchen has all mod cons - oven, hob, 2 x fridge, dishwasher, etc as well as a table and 4 chairs.

Furnace Room:

The furnace room has a washing machine and drier.

Living/Dining Room:

There is a large sofa and large wood-burning stove (logs are available and charged at cost).
The dining area has two large tables and one smaller one.

There is central heating throughout the property, charged at cost if needed.

All towels, linen etc. are provided

Basic cleaning is provided at the end of your stay.

Terrace with patio furniture; iron/ironing board; travel cot and baby listening device.

There is no phone or broadband in the property but Orange, SFR and other mobile signals are adequate for mobile and dongle usage. We use an EE Osprey which covers all our email and web enquiries for £12 a week.

Most mobile providers will offer European data bundles which can be much cheaper than the standard rates

There are a number of cafes with Wi-fi, and internet access is also available by the hour in the Tourist Office and in Asquins, the neighbouring village.
