How to get there

Vézelay is around two hours south of Paris

BY CAR

(1) From Dover to Calais (by ferry or Channel Tunnel): then:

EITHER

A26 to Troyes, the N77 to Auxerre, and the N6 and D951 to Vézelay (c. 420 km)

OR

A26 and A1 and A3 to Paris, via A6 to Auxerre , then N6 and D951 to Vézelay (c. 400 km)
     
(2) From Portsmouth to Le Havre by ferry: A13 to Paris, A6 to Auxerre , then N6 and D951 to Vézelay

BY TRAIN

Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord; RER D to Gare de Lyon; Gare de Lyon via Laroche-Migennes to Sermizelles / Vézelay (then taxi - c. 10 km)

BY TRAIN AND CAR

(1) By Eurostar to Paris Gare du Nord, and by rented car to Vézelay as above
(2) By Eurostar to Montbard and by rented car to Vézelay via Avallon

BY TRAIN AND BUS

By Eurostar to Montbard via Lille and by scheduled coach from Montbard to Avallon and by taxi to Vézelay (c. 16 km)
